Ishita Lohani has done her post graduation in Liberal Arts from Ashoka University and is a Young India Fellow, Batch of 2018. During this time she worked with grassroots organizations like Pension Parishad and Mahila Kisan Shakti Sangthan (MKSS) trying to document the issues with pension system in India. She has a degree in Bachelors of Technology in Food Technology from Delhi University. Her interests are environment, sustainability and energy studies and she is currently working on understanding the barriers to energy justice for the urban poor communities. In her spare time, she enjoys reading philosophy.
