Kiran Limaye is currently an assistant professor at Sarla Anil Modi school of economics, NMIMS, Mumbai. He teaches courses on Microeconomics to undergraduate and masters students.
He has PhD from IGIDR, Mumbai. His doctoral thesis was about issues in housing situation in Mumbai, comprised of three essays on welfare consequences of housing redevelopment, residential mobility, and commuting and suburbanization.
He writes frequently in English and Marathi in public domain – through his blog and in periodicals. He is a founder of SAJAG, an organization working to bridge information and opportunity gap of students living on urban and economic periphery.
